The great vegan banana split

veganbananasplit 6908 The Big Vegan Banana Split

Few days or weeks are imprinted in my memory forever and this what is sure to be one for me. Wednesday evening I got a call from my editor. I assumed that the call what the logistics of my upcoming radio tour just to talk about, but something much more than that.

"Angela, we just found out that you made the NEW YORK TIMES bestseller list!"

They put me on the speakerphone and the whole team, which gathered in the room cheering about the exciting news. The what a moment I will never forget. I still can't believe it!

After the call I ran "casually" down try to keep my cool, so I could surprise Eric with the news. I had a funny grin on my face (you know when you are half-smiling, but on forgetting bursting into tears?) and what he knew something was up. I began to speak, but the tears just welled up in my eyes and my voice anything could not get off. Typical pregnant lady, I am! Poor Eric what concerned that something horrible happen until I was finally able to tell him the news. Immediately after, I my mom called and she began to cry again, then made the pregnant woman also tear up! Oh boy. I guess the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree ...

None of this would even remotely possible without your support. Thank you for telling others about the cookbook, sharing photos on social media, posting reviewsand to believe that vegan recipes to be excited about something! Many of you have told me that you gifted copies to friends and family and that couldn't be more exciting to hear about the author. I feel so inspired to keep creating and I have so many great ideas spinning in my mind for the future.

Anyway, the NYT list paper appears in the Sunday 6 April . I'm going to try to find a copy somewhere in the GTA!

I couldn't think of a better time to enjoy a pregnancy desire! Like I had to apologize. To be honest, I have everything about the savory/salty cravings lately (like my lighter up crispy fried fries) but when I saw Cara's banana split recipe I made a mental note to a as soon as possible. I think I even had a dream about it!

We each picked up a treat for these heavenly spoon and devoured in a Flash. [Oddly enough, Eric "pregnancy craving" as well. I think they are contagious ... you were warned.]
